'Into Thy Word' is geared toward challenging you to learn how to better study the Bible! We seek to teach people to use logic induction, reasoning and good inductive and deductive principles by examining the particulars, facts and essence of a text first before making any conclusions. Thus, to lead a mature, meaningful, fruitful, character driven life for Christ's glory!

We are dedicated to teach you how to study the Bible in a simple, clear, and concise way!

We feel that the improper use of exegetical methodologies will skew our understanding of God and His precepts leading us to an improper life and false teachings. One should always seek the meaning from the actual original languages (and/or use multiple Bible translations and compare to other passages, do some research) and context and also what it meant to the intended audience then compare it to other passages to find the authentic meaning. This is proper "exegesis." What we do not want to do is seek a meaning from our agendas, preconceived theories or our modern vernaculars, theological agendas or hearsays¾because you will skew the intent that God has for us¾that is reading into the text what God is not saying to us!

Many misguided interpreters read into a Bible text, stringing together other passages out of context to create a grand theology out of injudicious reading and insert ideas that are not in the passages. What could be the causes and motivations for this? Why are we called to read His Word with "exegesis," or a right explanation and analysis of the text from what is actually in it?    We believe many people seek what they want and not what He has for us!

Reading into a text what isn't there. Interpreting it by different rules than a consistent understanding from the Bible is irreverence and heresy at best blasphemy at worst. Using a presupposition to arrive at the meaning, by ignoring the language and culture it was used in just makes false teaching and weak ineffective Christians that leads to a dead church.

The steps you are about to embark upon are not difficult. In fact they are quite easy. There are no elaborate condescending methods, just a common sense 'inductive' approach to get all we can from God's most precious Word. I first developed this study over 20 years ago, and have taught it to countless groups from junior high students to Pastors and for many ministry organizations. I carefully researched it, honed it, and it has become very practical and beneficial.
